Positive Behaviour Support Services
Our Positive Behaviour Support service is uniquely structured around the B.R.I.D.G.E Behaviour System — our signature 6-step framework that ensures every strategy is practical, respectful, and focused on long-term skill building. We support a wide range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, PDA profiles, trauma backgrounds, sensory differences, psychosocial disabilities, and complex mental health.
The B.R.I.D.G.E Behaviour System means we don’t just write a plan and hand it over. We build the capacity of everyone around the person — support workers, families, and teams — to implement strategies with confidence and consistency.
Step 1: Assessment
Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA)
Before we write a plan, we need to understand the behaviour. We look at the environment, sensory needs, communication gaps, and triggers to figure out exactly why the behaviour is happening. We don’t guess — we assess.
Step 2: The Plan
Behaviour Support Plans (BSP)
We write clear, NDIS-compliant Behaviour Support Plans that are free from confusing jargon. Our plans give support teams step-by-step instructions on how to prevent escalation and how to respond safely when things go wrong.

Team & Family Coaching
This is where most plans fail. We don’t walk away after the plan is written. We stay involved to coach support workers, guide families, and adjust the strategies until they are actually working in the real world.
The Process
How To Get Started
Submit a referral online. We will review it on the same business day to ensure we are the right fit for the participant's specific needs.
We meet with the participant, family, and key support workers to understand the current risks, challenges, and goals.
We conduct a thorough Functional Behaviour Assessment to understand the "why" behind the complex behaviours.
We develop a practical Behaviour Support Plan and begin coaching the team on how to use the strategies safely.
We stay involved to review progress, tweak strategies, and ensure the support team feels confident.
We track behaviour data, measure outcomes against the BSP goals, and provide regular progress reports to the NDIS, support coordinator, and family — keeping everyone informed and accountable.

Flexible support for all NDIS participants
Our goal is to make every step of accessing Positive Behaviour Support simple, clear, and stress-free, helping families and participants feel confident and supported from the very beginning.
NDIS Funding Category: Positive Behaviour Support is funded under Capacity Building — Improved Relationships (CB Relationships) in your NDIS plan. The NDIS support item number is 07_004_0106_6_3 (Behaviour Support Practitioner).

We coordinate directly with your plan manager to ensure services are delivered smoothly and according to your plan. We send invoices directly to your plan manager — you don’t need to handle any payments yourself.
Agency managed participants
We liaise with NDIS to ensure all documentation, reporting, and service delivery is compliant and seamless.
Self managed participants
We provide clear guidance, transparent pricing, and support so you can manage your plan confidently while accessing quality PBS.

We Stay Involved
Behaviour change is not a quick fix. We provide ongoing support to review data, adjust strategies as the participant’s needs change, and ensure the support team doesn’t burn out.
Note: Behaviour Bridge is a mobile clinic. Sessions take place in the home, community, school, workplace, or other environments that suit the person’s needs.
How long does a Behaviour Support Plan last?
Plans are reviewed regularly, typically every 12 months, or sooner if needs change.
Who is involved in creating the plan?
We involve the individual, family, support workers, and relevant professionals to ensure strategies fit real life.
Can PBS work alongside other therapies or supports?
Absolutely. PBS complements existing therapies and NDIS supports, making daily routines safer and more meaningful.
