Why We Come to You

At Behaviour Bridge, we firmly believe that effective Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is best delivered where life happens. That’s why our experienced practitioners provide outreach-based support, conducting sessions directly in the comfort of your home, within school environments, amidst community activities, or even in the workplace. We come to you, ensuring that support is integrated seamlessly into daily routines and familiar surroundings.

Behaviour is always contextual, and understanding it requires observing and working within the actual environments where challenges arise, rather than in an artificial clinic setting. For Kallaroo families, this means our support can address specific situations, whether it’s navigating the local parks, engaging with community groups, or managing routines within your family home, ensuring strategies are practical and effective in your everyday life.

What Support Coordinators Need to Know

We understand that as a Support Coordinator, timely and effective services are paramount. At Behaviour Bridge, we pride ourselves on efficiency, and you can expect Behaviour Support Plans to be typically released within three months of engagement, providing clear, actionable strategies for your participants.

However, we also know that a beautifully written Behaviour Support Plan that simply sits in a drawer does nothing for anyone – it’s like having a recipe book but never cooking! Our real focus is on implementation. We work closely with families, carers, and support workers to ensure that strategies are not just understood, but actively put into practice in daily life, leading to genuine, lasting change.

For your participants in Kallaroo, we currently have immediate capacity, meaning no lengthy waitlists to access our dedicated PBS services. We invite you to refer with confidence, knowing that your participants will receive prompt, high-quality support tailored to their needs.

A Story From Kallaroo

Eighteen-year-old Ben in Kallaroo worked part-time but found noise and distractions challenging. His PBS team arranged adjusted work hours during quieter shifts and provided noise-cancelling tools. His employer was trained on supporting his needs. With these strategies, Ben improved productivity and enjoyed job satisfaction, becoming a valued team member.

Meet Your Northern Corridor Practitioner

Alicia Mulligan - PBS Practitioner at Behaviour Bridge

Alicia Mulligan

PBS Practitioner

As a familiar face within the Kallaroo community, Alicia Mulligan brings her extensive experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner right to your neighbourhood. She’s passionate about fostering positive change and empowering individuals and families right here in the northern corridor, understanding the unique rhythm of our coastal suburbs. Alicia looks forward to connecting with you and sharing her commitment to truly understanding and supporting your specific needs.

Alicia Mulligan joins Behaviour Bridge as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and she is genuinely one of those practitioners you feel lucky to have on your team. Her specialty lies in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3, with a particular focus on non-verbal and minimally verbal participants, an area where experienced, confident practitioners are few and far between.

What sets Alicia apart isn’t just her clinical skill, it’s the way she shows up for the people she supports. With a deep and longstanding background in the disability industry, she brings a level of practical insight and genuine connection that is hard to teach. She understands the full picture: the family dynamics, the support worker pressures, the funding realities, and she works with all of it, not around it.
