Why We Come to You

At Behaviour Bridge, we believe that effective Positive Behaviour Support is best delivered in the environments where life truly happens. That’s why we provide entirely outreach-based PBS services, meaning our compassionate practitioners meet you and your loved ones in the comfort of your home, at school, within the community, or even in the workplace. We come to you, ensuring support is integrated seamlessly into your daily routine.

Behaviour is always contextual, and understanding it requires observing and working within those real-life settings, not in a sterile clinic. In Joondalup, whether it’s navigating the busy aisles of Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre, enjoying a family day out at Neil Hawkins Park within Yellagonga, or engaging in educational activities at local schools, our approach ensures strategies are practical and effective precisely where they’re needed most.

What Support Coordinators Need to Know

For our valued Support Coordinators in Joondalup, we want to be upfront: our commitment is to deliver comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) typically within three months of engagement. We understand the importance of timely support and strive to meet this benchmark consistently.

But here’s the thing , a beautifully written plan that just sits in a drawer does absolutely nothing! Our real focus at Behaviour Bridge is on robust implementation. We work hand-in-hand with families, carers, and support workers, providing ongoing coaching and practical strategies to ensure the plan comes alive in daily routines, making a tangible difference where it counts.

A Story From Joondalup

Twelve-year-old Mia struggled with transitions between activities at her Joondalup school, often becoming anxious during group tasks. Her PBS team introduced a vibrant visual schedule, gradually preparing her for each change. At home, her parents used a ‘cool-down corner’ inspired by school strategies, helping Mia self-regulate when overwhelmed. Over time, Mia confidently moved through her day with fewer meltdowns, and her teachers noticed she was more engaged in class projects, especially art.

Alicia Mulligan joins Behaviour Bridge as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and she is genuinely one of those practitioners you feel lucky to have on your team. Her specialty lies in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3, with a particular focus on non-verbal and minimally verbal participants , an area where experienced, confident practitioners are few and far between.

What sets Alicia apart isn’t just her clinical skill , it’s the way she shows up for the people she supports. With a deep and longstanding background in the disability industry, she brings a level of practical insight and genuine connection that is hard to teach. She understands the full picture: the family dynamics, the support worker pressures, the funding realities, and she works with all of it, not around it.
