Why We Come to You

At Behaviour Bridge, we understand that effective Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is best delivered where it matters most – in your everyday life. That’s why we provide outreach-based PBS, with sessions taking place in the comfort of your home, at school, within the community, or even in the workplace. We come to you, ensuring support is accessible and integrated into your routine.

This approach is particularly vital in Hillarys, where daily life often involves enjoying the bustling atmosphere of Hillarys Boat Harbour, participating in local sporting clubs, or navigating the vibrant shopping precincts. Behaviour happens in context, and by working within these familiar environments, we can observe, understand, and implement strategies that truly make a difference, rather than relying on a clinical setting that doesn’t reflect real-world challenges.

What Support Coordinators Need to Know

For Support Coordinators in Hillarys, you can expect Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) to be released within approximately three months of engagement. We pride ourselves on a streamlined process that prioritises getting essential strategies in place efficiently.

However, we all know a BSP that just sits in a drawer does absolutely nothing! Our real focus at Behaviour Bridge is on implementation. We work closely with families, carers, and support workers to ensure these strategies are not just written down, but actively integrated into daily life, making a tangible difference where it counts.

We currently have immediate capacity for new referrals in Hillarys, meaning no lengthy waitlists for your clients. We invite you to reach out and refer individuals who could benefit from our dedicated support.

A Story From Hillarys

Thirty-two-year-old Jason, living in supported independent living in Hillarys, had difficulties with loud household noises, triggering agitation. His support team introduced a personalised ‘quiet playlist’ and scheduled quiet hours. Jason also learned simple mindfulness exercises, which he practiced daily. With these tools, Jason experienced fewer outbursts, enjoying a more peaceful living space.
