Why We Come to You

At Behaviour Bridge, we don’t expect you to travel to a clinic. Instead, we provide outreach-based Positive Behaviour Support, meaning our sessions take place in the home, school, community, or workplace. We come to you because we know that understanding a person’s needs requires seeing them in their everyday environment.

This matters because behaviour happens in context, not in a sterile office. Whether it’s navigating the bustling aisles of Greenwood Village Shopping Centre, enjoying a quiet afternoon at Penistone Park, or managing routines at home, we design strategies that actually work in the real-world settings that make up your daily life in Greenwood.

🏠 Home

We work with families and support workers to build calm, predictable routines in the comfort of your own living space.

🏫 School

We collaborate with local educators to ensure students have the tailored support they need to thrive in the classroom and on the playground.

🌳 Community

From local cafes to the library, we help build the skills and confidence needed to safely and joyfully access the Greenwood community.

💼 Workplace

We provide practical coaching and strategies to help individuals succeed and feel supported in their employment environments.

🌊 Respite & Short Breaks

We support individuals and their families during respite and short break arrangements, ensuring positive experiences and continuity of behaviour strategies.

🎓 Day Programs & TAFE

Our practitioners work alongside day program staff and TAFE educators to implement practical strategies that support participation and skill development.

What Support Coordinators Need to Know

When you refer a participant to Behaviour Bridge, you can expect clear communication and timely action. We pride ourselves on developing comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) typically within three months of engagement, ensuring your participants get the strategies they need without unnecessary delays.

But let’s be honest,a beautifully written BSP that just sits in a drawer gathering dust does absolutely nothing for anyone. The real magic happens during implementation. That’s why our true focus is on working closely with families, carers, and support workers to translate those written strategies into practical, everyday actions that actually make a difference.

We currently have immediate capacity to support participants right here in Greenwood. With no lengthy waitlists to worry about, we invite you to reach out and see how we can partner together to achieve meaningful outcomes for your clients.

A Story From Greenwood

At Greenwood’s local swimming pool, 8-year-old Ava was frightened of water and would cry during lessons. PBS strategies introduced gradual exposure combined with a ‘bravery badge’ rewarded after each small step. Visual cues explained lesson plans. Ava’s patience and confidence grew, and by summer’s end, she swam happily, earning applause from her family.

Meet Your Northern Corridor Practitioner

Alicia Mulligan - PBS Practitioner at Behaviour Bridge

Alicia Mulligan

PBS Practitioner

Hello Greenwood! We’re thrilled to introduce Alicia Mulligan, your local Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, who brings her expertise right here to our vibrant community. Alicia is passionate about fostering positive environments and empowering individuals, and she’s eager to connect with families and participants across the northern corridor. Her dedication to understanding unique needs and developing effective strategies ensures a truly supportive and personalised approach for everyone she works with.

Alicia Mulligan joins Behaviour Bridge as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and she is genuinely one of those practitioners you feel lucky to have on your team. Her specialty lies in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3, with a particular focus on non-verbal and minimally verbal participants, an area where experienced, confident practitioners are few and far between.

What sets Alicia apart isn’t just her clinical skill, it’s the way she shows up for the people she supports. With a deep and longstanding background in the disability industry, she brings a level of practical insight and genuine connection that is hard to teach. She understands the full picture: the family dynamics, the support worker pressures, the funding realities, and she works with all of it, not around it.
