At Behaviour Bridge, we believe that effective Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is best delivered in the environments where life truly happens. That’s why we provide comprehensive outreach-based PBS services, bringing our expertise directly to your home, school, community spaces, or workplace. Our approach ensures that support is practical, relevant, and integrated seamlessly into daily routines, fostering real-world progress and lasting change.
Girrawheen is a vibrant, family-friendly suburb, rich with community spaces like its beautiful parks and playgrounds, and the bustling Girrawheen Hub Community Centre. We understand that behaviour is deeply connected to its context, and by working within these familiar settings – whether it’s navigating social interactions at a local park, participating in activities at the Hub, or engaging with local shops – we can observe, understand, and implement strategies that truly resonate with the individual and their unique environment.

What Support Coordinators Need to Know
For our valued Support Coordinators, we want to be upfront: Behaviour Bridge is committed to delivering high-quality Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) efficiently. Our typical turnaround for a comprehensive BSP is within three months of engagement, ensuring timely and effective intervention for your participants.
However, we also know that a beautifully written plan that just “sits in a drawer” helps no one! Our real focus, and where we truly shine, is on the implementation of these plans. We work hand-in-hand with families, carers, and support workers in Girrawheen to ensure strategies are not just understood, but actively integrated into daily life, making a tangible difference where it counts.
We currently have immediate capacity for new participants in Girrawheen, meaning no lengthy waitlists to contend with. We invite you to reach out and experience the proactive, person-centred support that Behaviour Bridge provides.
A Story From Girrawheen
In Girrawheen, 16-year-old Marcus felt anxious using public transport alone, often missing buses. His PBS team created a step-by-step travel plan with photos and introduced a ‘travel buddy’ app. After several supported trips, Marcus gained confidence traveling solo, increasing independence and participation in community activities.

Meet Your Northern Corridor Practitioner
Alicia Mulligan
PBS Practitioner
Welcome to Girrawheen! Alicia Mulligan is here to empower our community with positive behaviour support, offering a fresh perspective and practical strategies right here in your neighbourhood. She’s passionate about building brighter futures and fostering understanding for individuals and families across the northern corridor.
Alicia Mulligan joins Behaviour Bridge as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and she is genuinely one of those practitioners you feel lucky to have on your team. Her specialty lies in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3, with a particular focus on non-verbal and minimally verbal participants , an area where experienced, confident practitioners are few and far between.
What sets Alicia apart isn’t just her clinical skill , it’s the way she shows up for the people she supports. With a deep and longstanding background in the disability industry, she brings a level of practical insight and genuine connection that is hard to teach. She understands the full picture: the family dynamics, the support worker pressures, the funding realities, and she works with all of it, not around it.
