Why We Come to You

At Behaviour Bridge, we believe that true support happens where life unfolds. That’s why we provide outreach-based Positive Behaviour Support, bringing our expertise directly to you. Our sessions take place in the comfort of your home, within the school environment, out in the community, or even in the workplace, ensuring support is always accessible and relevant.

Behaviour is deeply connected to its environment, and understanding these contexts is crucial for effective support. In a dynamic coastal suburb like Eglinton, with its bustling foreshore, local parks, and growing community hubs, we tailor our strategies to the specific settings where challenges and triumphs occur. This approach ensures that the skills learned are practical, meaningful, and easily integrated into daily life, whether it’s navigating the local shops or enjoying a day at Amberton Beach.

🏠 Home

We work with individuals and families in their own living spaces, fostering a comfortable and familiar environment for skill development.

🏫 School

Our practitioners collaborate with educators and students directly in schools to address behavioural challenges within the learning environment.

🌳 Community

From the Amberton Beach foreshore to local cafes and community centres, we support individuals in navigating and engaging with their local Eglinton surroundings.

💼 Workplace

We assist individuals in their professional settings, helping to build positive behaviours that support employment and career growth.

🌊 Respite & Short Breaks

We support individuals and their families during respite and short break arrangements, ensuring positive experiences and continuity of behaviour strategies.

🎓 Day Programs & TAFE

Our practitioners work alongside day program staff and TAFE educators to implement practical strategies that support participation and skill development.

What Support Coordinators Need to Know

We understand the importance of timely and effective support. At Behaviour Bridge, we are committed to delivering comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) typically within three months of engagement. Our process is streamlined and efficient, ensuring that individuals receive the guidance they need without unnecessary delays.

BUT, and this is a big “but”, a beautifully written Behaviour Support Plan that just sits in a drawer does absolutely nothing! We know that the real magic happens in the implementation. That’s why Behaviour Bridge places a huge emphasis on working closely with families, carers, and support workers. We don’t just hand over a plan; we roll up our sleeves and provide ongoing coaching and practical strategies to ensure those plans actually come to life in daily routines.

For your clients in Eglinton, we currently have immediate capacity, meaning no lengthy waitlists to access our services. We are ready to engage and begin making a positive difference right away. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and refer your clients to Behaviour Bridge.

A Story From Eglinton

In Eglinton, 10-year-old Lucas struggled with morning routines, often running late for school. PBS providers worked with his family to create a colorful morning checklist and a reward system for punctuality. Lucas took ownership of his routine, resulting in smoother mornings and happier school days.

Meet Your Northern Corridor Practitioner

Alicia Mulligan - PBS Practitioner at Behaviour Bridge

Alicia Mulligan

PBS Practitioner

Hello Eglinton! We’re thrilled to introduce Alicia Mulligan, our dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, ready to connect with families right here in your vibrant community. Alicia brings a unique blend of compassionate understanding and practical strategies, perfectly tailored to foster positive growth and wellbeing for individuals. She’s eager to become a familiar face and a trusted resource as she helps create more supportive environments for everyone in Eglinton.

Alicia Mulligan joins Behaviour Bridge as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and she is genuinely one of those practitioners you feel lucky to have on your team. Her specialty lies in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3, with a particular focus on non-verbal and minimally verbal participants, which is an area where experienced, confident practitioners are few and far between.

What sets Alicia apart isn’t just her clinical skill; it’s the way she shows up for the people she supports. With a deep and longstanding background in the disability industry, she brings a level of practical insight and genuine connection that is hard to teach. She understands the full picture: the family dynamics, the support worker pressures, the funding realities, and she works with all of it, not around it.
