Why We Come to You

At Behaviour Bridge, we understand that effective Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) isn’t about clinic visits; it’s about real-life solutions. That’s why we provide outreach-based PBS, meaning our sessions take place where they matter most: in the comfort of your home, at school, within the community, or even in the workplace. We believe in meeting you where you are, ensuring support is practical and relevant to your daily life.

Behaviour happens in context, not in a sterile clinic environment. For the Noranda community, this means we can work with individuals in their natural settings, whether it’s navigating the aisles at Noranda Square, enjoying a playdate at Noranda Park, or participating in local community groups. By observing and implementing strategies in these familiar environments, we ensure that the support is truly integrated and sustainable.

🏠 Home

We work with families in their homes to create a supportive and understanding environment where positive behaviours can flourish.

🏫 School

Our practitioners collaborate with local Noranda schools to implement strategies that help students engage more effectively in their learning and social environments.

🌳 Community

We support individuals in accessing and participating in Noranda’s vibrant community, from local shops to recreational activities at Noranda Park.

💼 Workplace

For adults, we provide tailored support within their workplaces to enhance social interactions and job satisfaction.

🌊 Respite & Short Breaks

We support individuals and their families during respite and short break arrangements, ensuring positive experiences and continuity of behaviour strategies.

🎓 Day Programs & TAFE

Our practitioners work alongside day program staff and TAFE educators to implement practical strategies that support participation and skill development.

What Support Coordinators Need to Know

For our valued Support Coordinators, we want to be upfront: Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) are typically released within three months of engagement. We pride ourselves on efficiency and getting these crucial documents into your hands promptly, so you can see the framework for positive change.

BUT – and this is a big “but” – a beautifully written BSP that just sits in a drawer does absolutely nothing! We believe the real magic happens in the implementation. That’s why Behaviour Bridge places a huge emphasis on working closely with families, carers, and support workers. We’re there to coach, guide, and ensure those strategies are truly embedded into daily life, making a tangible difference where it counts.

We’re pleased to confirm that we have immediate capacity for new referrals right here in Noranda. No lengthy waitlists, just dedicated support ready to begin. We’re eager to partner with you to bring meaningful change to the individuals you support.

A Story From Noranda

Noranda’s 12-year-old Chloe struggled to focus during homework, often becoming upset and shutting down. PBS providers implemented a structured ‘homework station’ with visual timers and breaks. Parents praised Chloe’s efforts with a reward chart. Chloe became more efficient and less resistant during study time.
