At Behaviour Bridge, we believe that effective Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) happens where life happens. That’s why we provide entirely outreach-based services, meaning our dedicated practitioners come to you. Whether it’s in the comfort of your home, the learning environment of a school, within the bustling community, or even the workplace, our sessions are designed to integrate seamlessly into your daily routine, fostering real-world skill development.
Behaviour is deeply intertwined with its environment, and a “clinic” setting often can’t replicate the nuances of everyday life. In Edgewater, where families enjoy the local parks like Picnic Cove, navigate the busy Edgewater Shopping Centre, or utilise the Edgewater Train Station for daily commutes, understanding these specific contexts is crucial. Our approach ensures that strategies are developed and implemented directly within these familiar settings, leading to more meaningful and lasting positive change for individuals and their support networks.

🌊 Respite & Short Breaks

🎓 Day Programs & TAFE
Our practitioners work alongside day program staff and TAFE educators to implement practical strategies that support participation and skill development.
What Support Coordinators Need to Know
For our valued Support Coordinators, we understand the importance of timely and effective support. Behaviour Bridge is committed to delivering comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) typically within three months of engagement. We pride ourselves on a streamlined process that ensures individuals receive the tailored strategies they need without unnecessary delays.
However, we also know that a brilliant plan sitting in a drawer does absolutely nothing! Our real focus, and where the magic truly happens, is in the implementation. We work hand-in-hand with families, carers, and support workers, providing ongoing coaching and practical guidance to ensure that strategies are not just understood, but actively integrated into daily life. It’s about making those plans live and breathe.
We’re pleased to confirm immediate capacity for new referrals right here in Edgewater. There are no lengthy waitlists, meaning individuals can access the support they need when they need it most. We invite you to reach out and refer participants to a service that prioritises both prompt planning and impactful, real-world implementation.

“Edgewater has such a wonderful community spirit, and I always enjoy my visits here. I’ve had the privilege of working with some truly inspiring families, helping children find their voice in local parks and supporting young adults to thrive in their community roles. There’s a genuine warmth here, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see the positive changes unfold right within the familiar settings of this beautiful suburb. Every individual’s journey is unique, and being able to provide support directly where it matters most is what I love about working in Edgewater.”Julianne Shepley, Behaviour Bridge
