At Behaviour Bridge, we believe that effective Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is best delivered where life happens. That’s why our services are entirely outreach-based, meaning Julianne comes to you. Whether it’s in the comfort of your home, the learning environment of a school, the bustling community spaces, or the professional setting of a workplace, we integrate support seamlessly into your daily routine.
Behaviour is always contextual, and understanding it requires seeing it unfold in its natural environment. In Scarborough, this means supporting individuals whether they’re navigating the lively atmosphere of the Scarborough Beach foreshore, enjoying a quiet moment at a local cafe, participating in activities at the community centre, or learning new skills at a nearby school. Our in-home and community support approach ensures strategies are practical and effective right where they’re needed most, fostering genuine progress and independence within the familiar rhythms of Scarborough life.

What Support Coordinators Need to Know
We understand the importance of timely and effective support. That’s why Behaviour Bridge is committed to delivering comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) within approximately three months of engagement. Our process is streamlined and focused, ensuring that individuals receive the guidance they need without unnecessary delays.
However, we also know that a beautifully written plan sitting in a drawer does absolutely nothing! Our real focus is on implementation. We work closely, and with a touch of humour, alongside families, carers, and support workers to ensure that the strategies outlined in the BSP are not just understood, but actively put into practice in daily life. It’s about making a tangible difference, not just ticking boxes.
For those in Scarborough, we are pleased to confirm immediate capacity. There are no lengthy waitlists here; we are ready to engage and begin making a positive impact right away. We invite you to refer your participants to Behaviour Bridge with confidence.
A Story From Scarborough
Beach-loving 14-year-old Ethan from Scarborough had temper issues when his plans changed unexpectedly at family outings. His PBS team created a portable ‘change card’ system and practiced flexible thinking games at home. Sharing clear expectations helped Ethan anticipate changes. The family reported less frustration during beach days and more laughter as Ethan learned to roll with unexpected waves.

PBS Practitioner
Here in vibrant Scarborough, we’re thrilled to introduce Alicia Mulligan, a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner bringing her compassionate expertise directly to our community. Alicia is passionate about fostering positive change and helping individuals thrive, and she looks forward to collaborating with families and support networks right here on our beautiful coastline.
Alicia Mulligan joins Behaviour Bridge as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and she is genuinely one of those practitioners you feel lucky to have on your team. Her specialty lies in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3, with a particular focus on non-verbal and minimally verbal participants, an area where experienced, confident practitioners are few and far between.
What sets Alicia apart isn’t just her clinical skill, it’s the way she shows up for the people she supports. With a deep and longstanding background in the disability industry, she brings a level of practical insight and genuine connection that is hard to teach.
