Why We Come to You

At Behaviour Bridge, we understand that effective Positive Behaviour Support isn’t about rigid clinic appointments; it’s about real-life application. That’s why we provide outreach-based PBS, bringing our support directly to where it’s needed most – whether that’s in the comfort of your home, within school settings, out in the community, or even in the workplace.

Behaviour happens in context, and for support to be truly impactful, it needs to be delivered in the environments where challenges arise and new skills are practiced. In Mindarie, this means we can work with individuals at the bustling Mindarie Marina, during school activities, or even while enjoying the local parks and beaches, ensuring strategies are practical and sustainable in everyday life.

🏠 Home

We provide personalised support and strategies right in your family’s living environment, fostering positive interactions where they matter most.

🏫 School

Collaborating with educators, we implement behaviour support plans directly within Mindarie’s schools, helping students thrive academically and socially.

🌳 Community

From navigating the Mindarie Marina to enjoying local events, we support individuals in community settings to build confidence and participation skills.

💼 Workplace

We assist individuals in their employment settings, developing strategies that promote independence and positive engagement in the Mindarie workforce.

🌊 Respite & Short Breaks

We support individuals and their families during respite and short break arrangements, ensuring positive experiences and continuity of behaviour strategies.

🎓 Day Programs & TAFE

Our practitioners work alongside day program staff and TAFE educators to implement practical strategies that support participation and skill development.

What Support Coordinators Need to Know

For our valued Support Coordinators, we want to be upfront: you can expect Behaviour Support Plans from Behaviour Bridge to be released within approximately three months of engagement. We pride ourselves on a clear, efficient process to get these crucial documents into your hands.

BUT – and this is a big but – a Behaviour Support Plan that just sits in a drawer does absolutely nothing! We know that the real magic happens in the implementation. That’s why we don’t just hand over a plan; we work closely, and with a touch of light-hearted honesty, alongside families, carers, and support workers to ensure those strategies are genuinely integrated into daily life. We’re all about making those plans live and breathe.

We’re pleased to confirm that we currently have immediate capacity for new referrals in Mindarie. There are no lengthy waitlists here – we’re ready to engage and make a difference. Please don’t hesitate to refer your participants to us.

A Story From Mindarie

In Mindarie, six-year-old Zoe often refused to brush her teeth, making bedtime stressful for her family. The PBS team introduced a toothbrushing song combined with a colorful timer and a reward chart. Parents consistently praised Zoe’s efforts, turning the activity into a fun ritual. Within months, Zoe eagerly demonstrated her new routine, and parents enjoyed less resistance and more smiles at bedtime.

Alicia Mulligan

PBS Practitioner

Mindarie, meet Alicia Mulligan! As a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner right here in our vibrant community, Alicia brings a warm, collaborative approach to helping individuals and families thrive. She’s passionate about empowering you to build positive pathways and unlock potential, right on your doorstep.

Alicia Mulligan joins Behaviour Bridge as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and she is genuinely one of those practitioners you feel lucky to have on your team. Her specialty lies in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3, with a particular focus on non-verbal and minimally verbal participants, an area where experienced, confident practitioners are few and far between.

What sets Alicia apart isn’t just her clinical skill, it’s the way she shows up for the people she supports. With a deep and longstanding background in the disability industry, she brings a level of practical insight and genuine connection that is hard to teach. She understands the full picture: the family dynamics, the support worker pressures, the funding realities, and she works with all of it, not around it.
